SELLER’S STORY:

30 kWh battery vs 24 kWh on old leafs with all 12 capacity bars to indicating battery is at least 85% original capacity. I get over 100 miles range with 90% charge, which I only charge to if I have long commute, always park with 30 to 80% charge and avoid charging to 100%. According to Nissan these batteries last 22 years and am certain this one is in great shape. This EV is 2 years old with ~35k miles and still easily has +100 mile range so you can have comfort its been maintained and has long remaining life, i.e. good charging habits. I am selling my 2017 Leaf because now that I am sold on the EV lifestyle I bought a 2019 Leaf for the ePedal and Intelligent Cruise Control, range is not a problem. This is a great low cost and reliable starter if you're thinking about testing the waters before dropping $60k+ for the Tesla. If you live in LA or Bay Area with massive charging infrastructure you're throwing your money away to stick with Internal Combustion Engine (I.C.E., 55 cents per mile) over an EV (0 to 5 cents per mile).

  • Electricity vs. Gas

We've assumed a fuel economy of 21 miles per gallon for a comparable gasoline powered premium sedan, for example, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz S550. We've also assumed the national average of $0.13 per kilowatt-hour for electricity, 10% charging on Tesla’s Supercharger network and $2.70 per gallon for premium gasoline over the next five years.

    $300
  • Express Lane bills

Florida has allowed owners of hybrid, electric and other low-emission vehicles to ride in high-occupancy-vehicle lanes with only one person in the car between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. And with the introduction of the I-95 express lanes, they don't have to pay tolls.

    $120
  • Maintanance

EVs benefit from not requiring oil changes or other maintenance costs for exhaust systems. Studies have shown that this represents a 35 percent decrease in cost over time. Some calculations peg this to about 3 or 4 cents per mile of maintenance cost in an EV versus closer to 6 cents in an internal combustion car.

    $120
