SELLER’S STORY:
This has been my daily driver since 2015. It has been the best car that I've ever owned and the only reason I am selling it is that I'm purchasing a new Model Y. Taking delivery by end of March, so the S has to go to its next happy owner. It has high miles due to travel for work, but is in really good shape. Has mostly been driven in the south as I live in Myrtle Beach. It has a few paint chips on the front from road debris, and some scratches that can probably be buffed out. A good detailer could probably make iy look brand new. Still has three more years on its 8 year unlimited mileage powertrain warranty. Unlimited Free Supercharging! New tires on rear and front ones are at about 50%. It has never been in an accident, not even a minor one. Battery has lost less than 10% of its original range. Has air suspension, tech package and convenience package. Also has dual on board chargers capable of fast charging at home at up to 80kW! Connectivity has been upgraded from original 3G to 4G.

We've assumed a fuel economy of 21 miles per gallon for a comparable gasoline powered premium sedan, for example, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz S550. We've also assumed the national average of $0.13 per kilowatt-hour for electricity, 10% charging on Tesla’s Supercharger network and $2.70 per gallon for premium gasoline over the next five years.
Florida has allowed owners of hybrid, electric and other low-emission vehicles to ride in high-occupancy-vehicle lanes with only one person in the car between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. And with the introduction of the I-95 express lanes, they don't have to pay tolls.
EVs benefit from not requiring oil changes or other maintenance costs for exhaust systems. Studies have shown that this represents a 35 percent decrease in cost over time. Some calculations peg this to about 3 or 4 cents per mile of maintenance cost in an EV versus closer to 6 cents in an internal combustion car.
